workshops and courses which have been adapted to time frame from 1 hour to 1 week, depending on needs and time available –- help organizations, corporations, businesses, and NGOs create dynamic geometric positive change and growth. These programs are built around Odell’s ‘short-sweet,’ action-oriented approach, “Appreciative Planning and Action” (APA), applying this method to a range of different human, organizational and development challenges.
The series covers a wide range of topic areas from women’s empowerment and HIV/AIDS, to team-building, leadership, evaluation, and conflict resolution. Other issues addressed include housing, peace-building, community development, HIV/AIDS, and the ‘scaling-up’ of virtually any program through training of trainers to reach large numbers at low cost. All sessions are built around the theory and practice of APA and how these apply to all aspects of our work and our lives. Rather than talk about methods, we spend our time in each workshop actually using them.
